About College

H. B. Arts, Commerce and Science College, established in 2012, stands as a prominent centre of higher education in the rural and hilly region of Pishor, Kannad Taluka, Marathwada. For more than a decade, the college has been committed to transforming the lives of students through accessible, inclusive, and quality education.

Located in a socially and economically disadvantaged region with a significant tribal population, the college plays a vital role in providing higher education opportunities to rural, economically weaker, tribal, and underprivileged students. Our mission is not only to impart academic knowledge but also to develop confident, responsible, skilled, and socially conscious citizens.

Spread across a 2.5-acre campus, the college provides a peaceful and natural learning environment supported by well-equipped academic departments and dedicated buildings for senior college education. Our library, with more than 58,645 books, along with research journals, periodicals, and valuable reference resources, provides students with excellent opportunities for learning and research.

The college strongly believes that education goes beyond the classroom. To encourage the holistic development of students, we provide facilities for indoor and outdoor sports, a gymnasium, fencing, and various extracurricular activities. Our dedicated NSS units actively engage students in social service and community development, helping them develop leadership, teamwork, discipline, and a sense of social responsibility.

As a multi-faculty institution with more than 2,200 students, supported by a dedicated team of 22 teachers and 13 non-teaching staff members, we strive to create a student-centred and supportive academic environment. Our students have consistently demonstrated academic excellence, with several securing places in the university merit lists every year.

Today, H. B. College has earned recognition as a respected institution of higher education in Marathwada.
